Siegfried Eichhorn is one of the great German luthiers. Unfortunately, he passed away several years ago. He built guitars in the traditional style and his construction style was mainly based on the models of Torres.
His craftsmanship is beyond reproach and many professional guitarists played and play his guitars.

This hand-built classical guitar by Siegfried Eichhorn is a custom instrument made for a professional musician to be played in concert halls. It was made with great skill and attention to detail and is a very beautiful instrument.

Rosewood was used for the back and sides, and the top is made of very fine cedar. The scale length is 650 mm and the nut width is 52 mm.

This particular guitar was built with beautiful rosewood, which is very dense and therefore “reflective” in sound quality – adding brilliance and clarity to the tone. The guitar offers a very wide range of timbres in both the treble and bass, making it a very agile guitar for the player looking for those Bream-like timbre changes with just the slightest change in hand position or angle of right hand attack.
Although volume and projection are very good on this guitar, it has great balance and sustain. The sound is very solid and clear, with each note singing beautifully. The aesthetic design is beautiful, elegant and clean…this is an excellent classical guitar in all aspects.
It plays very smoothly with a slim neck and very good action. It is in very good condition for the age.
