Descend to new drop-tuned depths with Schecter’s PT-Ex! This guitar’s long 27-inch scale length comes in at 1.5 inches longer than your typical Schecter PT, allowing for chug-ready low tunings with optimal string tension. It’s the perfect setup for the PT-Ex’s high-output duo of USA-made humbuckers, including a Pasadena Plus in the bridge and a neck-position Super Rock Vintage — a combo that effortlessly covers everything from ultra-aggressive riffage to old-school rock tones to sparkling cleans. Picky about your playability? The PT-Ex’s carbon-fiber-reinforced hard rock maple neck, 14-inch-radius ebony fingerboard, and 22 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets deliver the peak of performance. Lastly, the Schecter Diamond PT/H string-through bridge maximizes every bit of sustain and resonance of this guitar’s lightweight nyatoh body.
