Up for sale we have a 1967 Eko Cobra XII Model 612/2 in original "Dura-Glos" Red finish with non-original Vox branded hardshell case. The guitar is in excellent used condition showing moderate cosmetic wear with small scratches, scuffs, dings and dents throughout the body and neck. Honest play wear from normal use over the years. Structurally sound with no cracks, breaks or repairs. The Cobra XII features a 24 3/4" scale length, solid body with dual cutaways and comfort contours, black 3-ply pickguard (b/w/b), equipped with it's original pair of single coil pickups with master volume and master tone controls, 4-position tone selector switch, treble boost on/off switch and a stop tailpiece bridge with six adjustable threaded barrel saddles. The medium sized bolt-on neck features a "D" shape profile with a flatter spine and full shoulders, it measures .870" deep at the first fret and 1.04" deep at the twelfth fret. The 21-fret (not including zero fret) Rosewood fingerboard features a 9 1/2" radius and white acrylic dot inlaid fret markers. Width at the (aluminum) nut measures 1 8/7" giving great string spacing across the entire fingerboard. The original smaller sized frets are present and show just a bit of play wear but have good life left in them, notes ring clean and clear with no dead spots or buzzing. The truss rod is accessible at the heel of the neck (adjustable without removing the neck) and functions as it should. The guitar weighs in at 5 lbs. 15 oz. Will be properly packed with care prior to shipment. In-store trades only. Thanks for looking.
