Japan's proud deformed guitar that was created for Akira Takasaki of LOUDNESS and has been in production for over 30 years since it went on the market in 1988. 'KG-PRIME'.
The unique and sophisticated body shape includes a neck joint that is inserted deeper than the front pickup and is angled at 3 degrees, and a VU shape that provides ideal grip in low and high positions. Various parts, such as the neck, are carefully considered and produced.

This is a pearl white color produced after a metallic matte blue finish, and is a favorite on both LOUDNESS and LAZY stages. Speaking of pearl white, it will be familiar to long-time fans as it was the color that was also made in the early PRIME models, and this model is unique in that the pickups are also white.
Very different from the conventional PRIME series, the body material is not ash but has an alder top/maple back structure. Alder is a body material that Mr. Takasaki is very familiar with as it is also used in Red Mirror's Random Star, but due to the maple back structure, the sound is completely different from that of Random Star, and it feels different to the ear. The pleasant attack of maple is added to the tone of alder wood, which has a unique stickiness in the midrange, giving the impression of a ``withered but energetic sound with a punch.''
The neck, which is jointed using Killer's unique deep insert method, has the same VU-shaped hard maple as the previous PRIME, figured maple fingerboard, side position marks made of luminous material, and wheel rods, but the fingerboard is included. The entire neck is colored with wood coloring, making it a darker color than the previous PRIME series, and the coating itself has been changed to an extremely thin one that gives you a feel of the texture of the wood.
Another feature is that the frets have been changed from the previous medium jumbo (#214H or Jesker #55090) to the jumbo size Jesker #57110.
Of course, the pickup is equipped with Mr. Takasaki's signature pickup, Seymour Duncan's THUNDER IN THE EAST, and the direct switch equipped from the KG-PRIME Signature 8118 is also inherited. The pickup is mounted using a traditional escutcheon mount instead of a direct mount.
