The 'Jason Richardson 6-string Cutlass Guitar' is a condensed version of the know-how gained through many years of using John Petrucci Signature, and was created by the award-winning Music Man design team and a versatile guitar player. This is the latest collaboration model with master composer Jason Richardson.
The top of the body is luxuriously made with carefully selected exotic rare material ``Buckeye Burl'', and the body material is selected from alder wood. The long scale of 25.5 inches and the neck/fingerboard are made of roasted maple, which is roasted to make it more resistant to neck warping and maintain excellent condition. In addition, it has 24 frets, and the frets are medium jumbo and durable stainless steel frets. It is resistant to wear and tear and produces better response and crisp sound.
The pickup is equipped with Musicman's 'Musicman Custom 6 string humbucking pickup.'
