Vintage 1960s Giannini GN-50 Nylon Classical guitar. Luthier built by the Giannini Guitar Company in Brazil, serial number B/4XXX (available to the buyer). Giannini makes high quality classical guitars and is well known to Classical, Flamenco, and Brazilian Jazz players.

This guitar features exotic tone woods including Jacaranda Brazilian Rosewood, Cedros Brazilian Mahogany, and nicely grained Spruce. The neck, back, and sides are Brazillian Mahogany. The fingerboard, faceplate, and bridge are Brazillian Rosewood, and the soundboard is tight grain Spruce.

The guitar is very resonant with an airy, articulate, transparent tone that's characteristic of nicely aged premium tone woods. It's a parlor sized instrument (3/4 scale) that's perfect for someone looking for a smaller nylon classical for intimate songwriting or serious guitar studies. The guitar is in very nice clean condition with very little wear, except for a nick on the top right of the body/side (as pictured).

Newly setup with medium tension classical strings, plays and sounds great. Includes original hard case, which is serviceable, but definitely not in as good shape as the guitar.
