Rare Martin Humphrey C-1R Classical guitar. 1999. The Martin C-1R is the result of a collaboration with Master Luthier Thomas Humphrey. Only built from 1997-2000, the Martin Humphrey C-1R offers elements normally found only on high end classical guitars.

This collectable 1999 C-1R is in excellent condition and features the innovations that made Thomas Humphrey guitars worth the 5 year waiting period to obtain one of his hand made guitars if you could afford one. The Martin/Humphrey collaboration resulted in a very low number of guitars built due to the unique design and intensive amount of hand labor required to build them. Noted features are a tapered body depth, raised fingerboard and light lattice bracing that gives this guitar its powerful sound.

This guitar features a Mahogany neck, Rosewood back and sides and a Red Cedar top. The C-1R offers warmth with tonal balance and has a dynamic and expressive sound. This guitar comes with the original Martin case with green interior.
