The Neo Bizarre Bass has a tasteful sound and looks reminiscent of Bizarre from the 1960s, but is also practical for professional use!

Basist Juan Alderete brought the 1960s Italian Bizarre Bass Goya Panther II to the Nordstrand workshop. Carrie Nordstrand fell in love with its cute looks and delicious sound, and it was redesigned and modernized. 'ACINONYX' is the neo-bizarre bass that has been revived. Following the original 'Panther', this model was named after the scientific name of the cheetah, and was affectionately known as the 'CAT BASS' in the workshop. It will be shipped after setup.

Due to affordable pricing, the manufacturing is done in Indonesia, but the factory that boasts top-class quality in the country handles OEM of high-quality guitars and basses from a certain brand that they supply pickups to. The pickup is of course made by Nordstrand. The bridge is also custom-made by HIPSHOT designed specifically for this model. In addition, the strange 1:3 headstock design was designed to allow all strings to pass straight from the peg to the nut, improving the practicality of the instrument in terms of neck strength, tuning stability, and sound. It has a thoughtful design. I also like that it's as light as a guitar, weighing just over 3kg.

There are a total of 8 buttons, 4 each on the pickguard, with a pickup selector on the top and a passive tone preset on the bottom. It can be set from four types: mid-cut and flat, and the pickup selector is ``Mix/Front only/Rear only/Mute'' from the top, but there is also a hidden trick to wire both pickups in series by pressing all four pickup buttons at the same time. This makes it a unique and playful instrument.
