The Falcon 5 pays tribute to Gibson’s legacy as one of the first electric guitar amp makers. Inspired by the classic Skylark amps of the 1950s and ’60s, it was designed by Randall Smith and the MESA/Boogie team and handcrafted in Petaluma, California, setting a new bar for tiny-amp tone.
Its single-channel, pure signal path keeps things simple: Volume and Tone controls, plus Reverb, a rare and welcome feature in a tube amp this compact.
A 10" Jensen Blackbird Alnico speaker with a distinctive mid-enhanced voice and a single-ended Class A power section deliver touch-sensitive response and rich, vintage power-amp overdrive at manageable volumes. A built-in Power Attenuator offers Full and Low power settings, making the Falcon 5 ideal for intimate gigs, home practice, and recording.
