Fender Twin Reverb SR2100
Our users rate Reverb
These amps are very rare. Being solid state, it doesn’t sound exactly like a tube Twin. And it doesn’t sound like the popular solid state Kustoms of that era. Tonally rich and sparkly with power and character. The only odd thing is the sweet spot on the tremolo intensity setting is higher than on other Fender amps. It has all the expected Fender features: Normal channel, Reverb channel with tremolo, bright switch etc. It also has a 3-way voicing switch: Pop-Normal-CW/RR. Do not let the “air conditioner” appearance deter you. This amp is hot! Chances are you won’t see another one on your gig!
Fender stated: “Fender dazzles the musical world with a solid state ‘rock-in’. [This] solid state amplifier…is the heavy-duty performer that locks on to today’s sounds. When you want the finest solid state-ment, select one of Fender’s solid-state amps. Join the Fender solid state revolution”
