About This Listing

Originally released in 2006, Gitane's DG-320 offered up a nice 14 fret to the body design with the large mouth sound hole - a suitable instrument for the likes of John Jorgenson (session guitarist extraordinaire) that has since been discontinued.

Solid spruce top, with a laminate exotic rosewood back & sides - this is a really attractive instrument, further accented by its binding.Designed with a longer 26 5/8" scale length - these guitars have an expressive and snappy tone with a nice low end response. The walnut neck has an ebony fingerboard and a 1.75" nut. The neck is straight with easy to play low action and clean frets from the previous owner. This example comes to us with the mustache accents of the bridge placed in the wrong spot, an interesting faux pas from the factory. The guitar tunes and intonate's fine with the saddle in the position that is marked in the photos. A really excellent instrument for any player looking to get into Manouche Jazz playing.

Includes original hardshell case.
