Burns Marquee Club Series Fiesta Red Electric Guitar

Here for sale we have a Burns Marquee Club Series electric guitar in Fiesta Red finish. Built in China, this guitar features a bolt-on construction consisting of a Okoume body, Maple neck and Rosewood fingerboard. A Burns 3-Bolt Knife-Edge Tremolo is featured with a set of Burns sealed tuning machines. The pickups are a trio of Burns Rez-O-Matik single coils, these are wired to a 5-way blade selector, master volume, neck tone and bridge tone control with a push/pull feature that engages the neck pickup in any position.

The Maple neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the ‘C’ profile offering a slender feel in the hand, whilst the gloss finish on the back aids in smooth movement up and down the register. The Rosewood fretboard feels pleasant under the fingers and provides a smooth surface for the user to explore, along with the 12” radius making chordal playing, bending and vibrato techniques a breeze. The Okoume body is robust and weighty, giving it a dependable feel, whilst the body contours provide comfort in either standing or sitting positions.

Okoume is comparable to Mahogany as a tonewood, leaning towards the warmer side. With clean amp settings the guitar sounds warm, with a surprising level of brightness considering its weight. The pickups offer a wide range of tonal capabilities. The push/pull tone control engages the neck pickup in all 5 positions, meaning that in position 4 you can use all 3 pickups at once, this offers a plethora of tonal options for the player to explore.
