A medium scale model is now available in Grass Roots' flagship model AMAZE!
The body is made of basswood to reduce weight. The neck has a hard maple + rose fingerboard with white binding and a block position. Since a wheel nut is used, the warp of the neck can be adjusted without removing the neck.
The scale is 32 inches (813 mm), one fret shorter than the regular 34 inches (864 mm), and the fingerboard width is slightly slimmer, making it easier for women and children to play. The bridge is a traditional type, but it is also possible to string the strings from the body back, which allows you to gain tension for the shorter scale. The controls are a simple 2 volume + 1 tone configuration, and by raising the tone, both pickups are connected in series, creating a pseudo-humbucker mode, allowing you to get a powerful sound.
