Headway's now popular cherry blossom model, Winter Cherry Blossoms, is based on white and is reminiscent of a harsh but magical winter.

The body material is veneer Sitka spruce for the top, and veneer cherry wood, the symbol of the series, is used for the side and back materials. Surprisingly, cherry wood has an all-round sound characteristic with little quirk, and when combined with Sitka spruce, which also has a good balance, it creates a sound that suits a variety of styles. The HBC body shape is Headway's original shape called Balcote, and is generally a model close to New Yorker style.
