This is a 1981 Odyssey g400 hawk. Neck through design with a brass bridge. It has a demarzio PAF in the neck and super distortion in the bridge. It has two volume controls and one tone along with a three-way switch. The pots have all been recently replaced with CTS pots.
There is very little wear on this guitar from playing. The frets are in good shape and there are only a few minor cosmetic dings. The nut is shifted over just slightly for a proper string alignment but it does not affect playability at all. It was that way when I got it and I've never had any issues.
I had this recently set up and it plays perfectly. It's a thinner profile neck than some of the others and feels very nice.
In late '70s and early '80s Atilla Balogh produced some of the neatest and highest quality guitars around for Odyssey guitars in Vancouver. These are becoming more difficult to find and this is the only one around for sale right now so grab it up while you can.
He used a neck through design with a volute on the headstock for added strength. They came with Grover tuners and DiMarzio pickups from the factory. It has the higher end Odyssey designed bridge and plays like a dream.
Includes a hard shell case. It is in good condition with only a few minimals scratches to the exterior. It fits pretty well but it's a little loose so I always tuck a bit of bubble wrap around it. If you don't want it we can deduct a little.
I don't have an issue shipping internationally for the cost of shipping so reach out if you'd like me to calculate it.
Feel free to make me an offer and maybe we can work something out.
