Martin style D-35S acoustic flat-top guitar, made in the year 1976

This instrument conforms to the typical specifications of the model for the period in which it was made with dreadnought-size slope-shouldered flat-top body, Sitka spruce top with non-scalloped X-bracing and natural finish, Indian rosewood peghead overlay, back, and sides (three-piece back), multi-ply white & black sound hole rosette, black plastic pickguard, "lower belly style" ebony bridge with "drop-in" saddle, white bridge pins with black center dots, mahogany neck with multi-ply white heel cap, slotted peghead with three-on-a-strip side-mount tuners with metal buttons, gold-color "C.F. Martin & Co." peghead decal, 20-fret ebony fingerboard (12 frets clear of the body) with mother-of-pearl dot inlays and single-ply white edge binding, multi-ply white & black edge binding on body top, back, and side, and other typical style 35 appointments. Slotted head which is hard to find especially in this condition. Comes with original hardcase. Serial# 380308
