Les Squier Stratocaster Standard du début 2000 présentent un corps en peuplier (au lieu du traditionnel aulne, plus noble avec des propriétés sonores différentes). Force est de constater que cela donne toujours de très intéressants résultats une fois passée entre nos mains.
Avec son look revu façon «Studio 54 » et un set de micro A3, on vous met au défi de ne pas craquer sur le clean du micro middle.
Les micros d’origine ont été remplacés par un set Tonerider Surfari (Micro Alnico3) et l’électronique a été refaite avec un switch CRL 5 positions et des potentiomètres CTS et un condensateur vitaminQ. Les mécaniques d’origine on été remplacées par des mécaniques Fender modernes.
