Cutaway Cedar of Lebanon 6 string guitar
This is a Standard B&G Little Sister with a Lebanon Cedar top. B&G made a run of standard spec guitars in order to to gain efficiencies in their production process. Suhr has done this in the past and sold the "Throwback" version of their guitars for $1,000 under the price of their regular models. I'm guessing this didn't work well for B&G because they stopped selling the Standard. Lucky for me because I bought this guitar new from North American Guitar for $3,000 instead of the current price for this guitar of $3,950.
I replaced the tuners with B&G custom tuners which is a $225 upgrade. I will include the stock tuners. This guitar has a very small ding on the upper side of the lower bout. The guitar has an open grain shellac finish which is visually pleasing and tactilely compelling. It is a real joy to hold and play.
