These are really cool guitars, really obscure and really, well weird? We have had several basses, and love the wacky stuff! Bunkers had the headstock separate from the neck, which was a patent they had, and the tuning machines are down on the body. Our local luthier, in my opinion the best I know did a complete refret for the previous owner, and well as refinished the fingerboard, set up and checked out all the electronics. Plays fantastic and everything works as it should. The switch back plate looks aftermarket and the knobs may be. It had a bag when we got it, it's a tad longer than a normal guitar but we had a new hard case that fit it perfectly, a Roadrunner I believe. I love Koa, have several Koa guitars and the body looks like Koa to me, it's gorgeous. There is a repaired crack/split in the headstock, the only real flaw I see- the headstock is separate from the body, so not a structural thing, and is solid. The neck is highly flamed! Beautiful instrument, pretty amazing in a lot of respects and very high quality. Thanks for looking!
