Listing one of my beloved Manson guitars. Heavily modded in California. This one is very unique, plays, and feels like my customs which include masterbuilds made by Hugh Manson and Tim Stark.

This guitar is based on a 2018/2019 Limited Edition Manson MA-2 EVO FR SUS. As far as I know, only around a dozen were made, and just a handful with a Floyd Rose.

Such Mansons MA2 are rare and start at ~$3,500+ before upgrades.

Titanium Upgrades:

Upgrades below were made not by Manson in the UK, they were made in California after I purchased this guitar.

Titanium used in this upgrades is a specific titanium alloy used for mission critical aerospace parts. This alloy was used because of its superior 'Q-factor', also known as 'resonant frequency'. This measure is used in physics and engineering to describe the frequency at which a system vibrates. Titanium parts are undoubtedly superior, but they are extremely rare due to a very high cost of making such parts. My interest in working on this project was to research the limits of product enhancements achievable through investments in parts and materials.

The version of Floyd Rose in this Manson is called 'Original', but the best version of it which was Made in Germany. Such are not sold in Guitar Center, and are pretty rare online.

The Titanium parts Machined in Japan include:

1. Titanium saddles

2. Titanium block inserts

3. Custom low cap Titanium screws holding the titanium saddles

4. Titanium string locking screws

5. Titanium block

6. Titanium Locking Nut Clamping Blocks

7. Custom black anodized Titanium screws holding the clamping blocks

Titanium Floyd Rose parts are a rare find. Dive into YouTube or forum reviews and discover the remarkable enhancements in sound and durability. Installing upgrades to your Floyd Rose is one of the biggest pains in guitar upgrades, it takes hours or days. All done here, you can just enjoy everything.

Non-Titanium upgrades:

1. Black Gotoh 510 Staggered Locking tuners. The best and the most beautiful tuners available on the market, +$100.

2. Machine-milled brass spring claw. Also a rare find, and a also pain to install.

3. Original Floyd Rose Retainer.

4. Tremlock (Optional — tell me if you want it, I'll throw it in for $100) Tremmory patented Floyd Rose adjustable locking mechanism. Made In Germany. Currently I can only find it for more than $160. But it's a killer upgrade to your Floyd Rose, many musicians state that Tremmory is the best upgrade money can buy for a Floyd Rose equipped guitar.

And, finally, the main upgrade:

Stainless Steel Jescar frets. Pressed-in with superglue (not hammered!) and rolled fingerboard edges. Such an upgrade is at least $400 here in California.

Pickups:

NECK: Sustainiac Stealth PRO system in the neck, Made In USA

This is not a current version of Sustainiac with very weak MIX MODE (middle position). This is a better version with a metal plate underneath instead of a cheap green PCB-plate of Sustainiacs which are currently in production. I have multiple guitars with Sustainiac, and this particular revision has a killer middle position, while all the others I have hardly work in the MIX mode.

BRIDGE: Manson PF-1 (Matt Bellamy of MUSE signature pickup) Made in the UK.

2x New Original Switchcraft switches (Kill Switch and Pickup Selector)

+ Custom Bare Knuckle/CTS Push/Pull Pot for Coil-Split. Unlike Manson's common wiring, this version also changes the sound of Sustainiac, making it hotter and thicker, or less hot with more highs when the Push/Pull pot is up.

Last thing: the guitar currently has a set of Aluminium Manson pickup mounting rings, which were made for me by Mansons as a part of my custom order. I currently want to keep them, and will change them for high-quality metal mounting rings of black color. But if you want to have them too, we can discuss this, but I love them and they won't come cheap.

Condition-wise:

The guitar has several scratches, some dings on the body from normal use, but it looks absolutely great and according to "Very Good" condition. I love what it looks like now, and I love this instrument, but we've been together since 2020, and it's 2024 and time to part our ways, because my home has way-way too many Manson guitars. I'm sure you'll love it.
