About This Listing

Here's my MINT 2023 Gibson Custom Shop '54 Les Paul Standard Reissue in Pelham Blue, featuring P-90 pickups.

This custom-built "Made to Measure" guitar left the Nashville, TN, factory in July '23. Soon after, I bought it from the great team at Wildwood Guitars. Since then, it has happily resided in my humidified music room.

Why am I selling this beauty? I've recently purchased two flame-top Murphy Lab Les Paul Standards - of course, from Wildwood. This beautiful '54 deserves a home where it'll be loved and played!

This guitar weighs 7.74 lbs. Your back and shoulder will thank you!

The strings are top-wrapped on the bridge, just as they would have been back in 1954.

The only thing I've added to the instrument are Schaller strap lock buttons. It's dead MINT. I'd call it UNPLAYED, but I did plug it into my Amplified Nation Wonderland Overdrive tube amp for a few minutes to test the glorious sounds of the P-90s - and they deliver!

Included are the full complement of case candy and COA plus the original mint Lifton brown hardshell case.

A MINT '54 Les Paul Standard in this gorgeous Pelham Blue with screaming P-90s doesn't come along very often. You can order your own "Made to Measure" build through your local Gibson dealer, but the wait time is a year. It could take longer.

This one is available right now.

No trades on this one, thank you.
