About This Listing

Up for sale, a 1984 Rickenbacker 360 in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. This rare guitar features an extremely rich and unaged Autumnglo gloss custom color finish, and early '80s Rics are known for their unique X-braced tops as well as factory-installed Grover Rotomatic tuners.

This Rickenbacker has a wonderfully resonant acoustic tone with plenty of chime and jangle via the pair of Hi-Gain single coil pickups. The tone has great warmth and nuance, and when strumming a chord with authority, the instrument has a clear, cutting quality, inherent in maple as a tonewood. The guitar balances well on a strap, and weighs 8lbs 7oz. Professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar and strung with 10-46 strings, this Rickenbacker has low action and spot-on intonation.

Neck Specs:

-Wood: Maple, Walnut
-Shape: Round C, full shoulders, measuring .910” 1st fret, .935” 12th fret
-Fretboard: Rosewood, triangle pearl inlay
-Frets: Slender, full factory height and well-rounded crowns, light wear beneath the plain strings on frets 1-6
-Scale Length: 24 3/4”
-Nut: 1 5/8"
-Tuners: Grover Rotomatic

Body Specs:

-Wood: Maple
-Pickups: Hi-Gain
-Harness: Untouched solder, CTS pots date to the 24th week of '83
-Controls: Volume x2, Tone x2, Blend, three-way pickup selector
-Hardware: Chrome, gleaming plating, six-saddle bridge and R tailpiece
-Plastics: Two-tier pickguard, quintet of knobs, near-mint
-Serialization: XC-prefix serial on Rick-o-Sound stereo jack plate, dating to March, 1984.

The Autumnglo gloss finish is near mint, with cosmetic wear on the guitar limited to a few light pick scuffs across the guard and just a few faint marks on the body as a whole, mostly relegated to the back.

The original black tolex hardshell case is included.
