Just in from the original owner, a rare, single pickup 4000 model Rickenbacker bass in a beautiful "Mapleglo" Finish! This instrument appears to have been custom ordered to include a bound fingerboard as binding was not standard on this model. The slim profile neck and lightweight, resonant body make this a very comfortable bass to play while the single "Horseshoe" Bridge pickup is aggressive and provides the distinctive growl that made Rick basses the go-to instruments of many rock players over the years. It includes the original hardshell case.
