This is a 1972 Gibson Johnny Smith with all original pickup, electronics and hardware (only exception is re-issue volume knob).

The guitar is in very good shape for being 50 years old with the exceptions being some belt rash on the back, some warping of original pickguard and a crack underneath the pickguard HAS BEEN REPAIRED

(see pics) . It plays and sounds great! It was setup and repaired by luthier Marc Tappan of Guitars n Jazz in Summit, N.J. Marc is an excellent luthier and repair specialist who has worked on a ton of Archtops and done work for many well known Jazz guitarists.

Comes in original Gibson hardshell case.
