1992 Fritz Ober & Edmund Blochinger Concert Classical Guitar --
This guitar, owned by concert artist Glenn Tinturin, was made in Munich, Germany. It has a German spruce soundboard and top-grade Central South American / Brazilian rosewood sides and back. The fingerboard is ebony, and the tuners are made by Rieschl in Germany. The condition is excellent.
Ober & Blochinger were two of the great contemporary makers of the classical guitar. Fritz Ober unfortunately passed away recently and Edmund Blochinger continues to build top-quality guitars to this day. Their instruments, both individually and as partners, are very sought after. This instrument is made of top-grade materials, and their craftsmanship is superb. The sound is very focused and powerful enough to fill any concert hall. This is truly a top-level concert instrument.
