KALAMAZOO Bass 50 1960's Vintage Tube Amp
The Bass 50 was the top of the line for Kalamazoo amps in the 60s. This amp is in excellent condition, only issue is a missing front name plate. The amp sounds great for guitar or bass. Plenty of power with a great tube sound for gigging or practice. Quiet for studio use. I bought this amp from an older gentlemen in 2020. I had a complete tune up done by Audio Austin of Sommerville just after purchase. New caps installed, and bias adjusted. It has been a great amp for me but I'm now thinning out my collection.
Specs: 50 Watt all tube amp with original pair of 10" Jensen Special Design C10N speakers. 2 EL34/6CA7 power tubes, 2 6EU7 preamp tubes. The amp has the original two prong power cord. Cabinet dimensions: 25" x 20" x 10"
Made in U.S.A. Made by Gibson in the 1960s under the ownership of Chicago Musical Instruments, CMI (Gibson's parent company during the 60s).
