Always thought Kurt’s OG Polaroid design was pretty incredible. The sunburst version has more of the “R. Crumb” treatment than the blue iteration so we went with that one. A swooping profile of a Mahogany body coated in Black Imron with black pickguard, standard Mustang wiring with a Dimarzio Super Distortion and a special Alnico 5 slugged single coil we made to compliment the high gain bridge pickup. Super clear and pronounced lows and highs with out getting muddy. The bridge position gets that cool, almost cat hissing sound, of a Travis Bean 500 in the bridge position but with out losing the low end. CTS pots, Sprague caps, Switchcraft hardware, Thermax coax cable purchased from NASA, Fender Dynamic tremolo, Gotoh TOM bridge, Electrical Guitar Company 24.00 inch scale aluminum neck and Gotoh tuners with stainless steel frets.
