Here for sale we have a Epiphone Les Paul Standard 50’s in Ebony finish. Built in China in 2021, this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a Mahogany body with Maple top, Mahogany neck and 22 fret Laurel fingerboard. This instrument is equipped with Nickel hardware including a Epiphone LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge and Epiphone LockTone StopBar tailpiece along with Grover tuning machines. The Pickups are a pair of Epiphone ProBucker 1 and Epiphone ProBucker 2 Humbuckers, wired to the standard Les Paul control layout. 

The Mahogany neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the 50s Rounded Medium ‘C’ profile feeling slender, providing a smooth and articulate playing experience. The Laurel fingerboard feels pleasant under the fingers and provides a smooth playing surface for the user to explore, along with the 12” radius and Medium Jumbo frets making bending and vibrato techniques a breeze. The familiar lines of the body feel great in the arms, whilst the Chambered weight relief makes this Les Paul feel sprightly on the shoulders. 

The Epiphone ProBucker 1 humbucker in the neck position sounds thick and full, with a rich low end great for rhythm tonalities. The middle position provides a punchy, tight midrange great for chordal styles of playing whilst being able to cut through a mix. The Epiphone ProBucker 2 humbucker in the bridge position produces a clear and articulate top end, balancing very well with a punchy output,  providing a great feel and clarity, allowing the player to achieve a wide variety of tones all at the fingertips.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall very good condition. The front and rear face of the headstock present light scratches visible under direct light. 

Neck: Overall good condition. The rear of the neck presents finish cracking on both sides of the nut, this exposes the wood underneath at the bass side. This does not flex and appears structurally sound.

Body: Overall very good condition. The front and rear face of the body show consistent scratches that are visible under direct light. The rear face of the body also demonstrates buckle rash. 

Condition of Frets: 

The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any future work the new owner may wish to perform.

Current Set Up:

Truss Rod: Fully functional and can be adjusted. Truss rod tool (4mm hex) not included.

Hardware: Fully functional with light signs of wear.

Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
