Gibson's New Hummingbird Pro Cutaway is an exciting take on the classic square-shouldered dreadnaught model that has been so popular for Gibson for over 50 years now. This excellent sounding acoustic /electric is now being offered at a breakthrough price. With features that include a Sitka Spruce top with mahogany body, 1-piece mahogany neck, split parallelogram inlays, and onboard Fishman Prefix Plus-T electronics for full control over your amplified sound.
The Gibson Hummingbird Pro Cutaway features hand-scalloped, radiused top bracing inside the body, a feature normally found only in limited run, handmade guitars. By scalloping each brace by hand, the natural sound of the acoustic is focused more toward the center of the body, enhancing the instrument's sound.
