Rutters Fender Telecaster Goldtop Brazilian RW + Ron Ellis P-90s

This is a rare one. You will not see another like it. This is one of three killer gold top Telecasters made by the magic hands of Marc Rutters in 2022 in conjunction with Ron Ellis. You want a 1954 Les Paul Goldtop with killer Ron Ellis P-90s in a Telecaster format with a fast Brazilian Rosewood fretboard with big frets? If so, you just found your tonal monster. If you know anything about the master, Ron Ellis, you know it is pure vintage tone. These pickups sound fat and wonderful but have the trademark Ellis clarity on the note. Oh, and she only weighs 6.5 pounds as compared to the usual back breaking 9.5 to 10 pounds for an LP. I added a top of the line CRL 3 way switch plus Ron Ellis's preferred capacitor for best tone and true roll off. If you know Marc Rutters then he is also well known for all the hardware that he machines himself. It is all top notch. Marc Rutters is also making one of these special guitars for Julian Lage. When Julian starts playing his it will go viral and this guitar will escalate fast in value. Ron Ellis has worked with Julian Lage on the Collings 470 JL that is all the rage now. I have a brief video of the guitar being played in a live setting (the only time it has left my studio) and I can share that upon request. The tune is Tom Petty's "Mary Janes Last Dance."

** See the photo array for two small nicks on the back side (edge) of the guitar. Minor but worth noting for accuracy. Hard to capture with camera but I never notice them. Guitar comes with a padded Gig Bag.

Neck is Honduran Mahogany that is quarter-sawn. Body is also Honduran Mahogany.
