A very interesting Vega conversion-
1924 Whyte Laydie No. 7 pot with deco engraved flanges and gorgeous resonator.
Circa 1928 Vega long scale neck, beautiful rare jazz age 5 string neck.
The dowel stick and rim serial numbers match. The neck is nice and straight, some deterioration of the binding that never bothered me.
Two replaced hooks/nuts and one replaced flange (the plain one)
The neck is long scale and sets the bridge position back -sounds great with the repro Pete Seeger bridge.
The head is Jamaican Goat by Jeff Menzies.
Original tuners that work well. Period no Knot tailpiece. Gator hardshell case.
