Plush P1000S tube guitar amp hand-built with point-to-point wiring circa 1968 in New York City. Famously based on (depending on whom you ask) either the Fender Bassman or Dual Showman circuit but utilizing military-spec transformers supposedly better than what Fender used at the time. No overdrive but two channels, each with a bright switch, volume, bass, mid and treble controls. One channel includes reverb and tremolo. The companion ported G2 cabinet features two 15" speakers (they appear to be original, not sure of the brand), removable grille and casters for rolling it around. Amp and cabinet are covered in blue metal-flake diamond tuck upholstery. Serviced by Dave’s Sound Repair (Whippany, NJ): all dead or dangerously outmoded parts were replaced and a correct grounded AC power cord replaced the original two-prong version.

This 100-watt survivor amp has honest gig wear but presents well. More importantly, it sounds FANTASTIC. Tons of clean headroom, takes pedals well and gets ungodly LOUD (I’ve never raised the volume above 2). The reverb and tremolo are deep and glorious. As the owner of an original 1972 Orange Overdrive 80, I have little to no occasion to use this Plush. It needs to go to someone who will appreciate it. Available for local pickup in Weehawken, NJ only. I cannot and will not ship this. Sorry, please do not ask.
