The Case...

This Guitar comes with its original black exterior, burgundy interior case with Tak's silkscreened signature on the outside. The exterior shows light storage and use wear but nothing over the top. The inside still smells fresh. Inside the case compartment sleeps the COA, Japanese Owner's Manual, Prepackchecklist/warranty card, original silica packet as well as the Schaller Strap Lock counterparts.

I've wanted to try one of these Tak DC models for awhile! I always thought they would be similar to the Modern Double Cuts, but these are actually closer to a Les Paul in feel, just slightly thinner and with a different cutaway situation. I'm a fan now that I've tried one!

This example is in pretty great shape at first glance! I just gave it my deep clean + polish from head to toe - the frets shine like mirrors. Under the discerning light, you can see quite a few blemishes though. Some dings by the pickups in the middle and by the bridge, a ding on the headstock's edge, a ding on the back as well as some scratches from a strap are also present. Being a dark blue finish, you will find plenty of surface level polishing scratches and swirls. The tailpiece has some scratches from being previously top-wrapped and there is some permanent tarnishing to the ABR-1 bridge. Most important to note is a case of STAND RASH on the edges of the headstock. If you can live with those - this is a personalized set up away from being your new #1!
