This Marshall 25th Anniversary Jubilee Model 2550 is part of the private collection of Billie Joe Armstrong.
What we have here is one of the most collectable Marshall Amps, the Silver Jubilee Series. This is the 2550 Head. The 50 watts version of the 100 Watts 2555. Amazing tone and history. The 2555 amps are played by many famous rockstars and even Jim Marshall himself called it one of the better amps he ever made. The output is switchable to 25 and 50 watts so this one cranks up even at indoor volume level. The output master and input gain are push/pull pots for more versatile tones.
This 1987 Marshall Jubilee 2550 is absolutely one of the better ones we have seen pop up on the site. This amp sounds excellent. The classic and mysterious Jubilee tone that is highly sought after.
Tests and checks clean and sounds as good as it did leaving the factory in 87. Some very light tolex wear. We have done our best to capture any imperfections of this amp through our photography here on the site. Please enjoy.
Original foot switch is not included. Comes complete with IEC power cable. A legend for a reason. Perfect for the studio or stage.
