This Gretsch Archtop Model 35 F-Hole Acoustic is part of the private collection of Billie Joe Armstrong.

This Gretsch Model 35 Archtop is a personal favorite here in Billie’s shop.

This guitar had come to Reverb minus several strings and in need of some TLC. We were able to have our techs at Chicago Music Exchange give this guitar the attention it deserved with a fresh set of strings and a setup.

Currently, this guitar plays and behaves beautifully. This guitar sounds excellent and was used significantly. Overall heavy marks and wear. Duct tape residue by the neck joint. Some obvious heavy players wear.

These issues, of course, do not effect the guitars sound or performance. Neck is straight and true. Includes the original pick guard, however this is not mounted at the time. All of that said, this guitar sounds great. There are no further issues, aside from the aforementioned, to be seen or heard. A killer piece. Ships in an OHSC which is in rough shape. Only two of the latches are functioning. This will likely need a new case if you are looking to take this guitar out of your home.
