About This Listing

Adrian Lucas, based in Lincoln, UK, has been building guitars for over 30 years. He only uses reclaimed and local woods without compromising the quality of the instruments. For example, the wood that is used for this guitar comes from doors, church pews, tables and floorboards.

The use of these old woods give the guitar the sound of an instrument that has been around for many years, and the oil finish also makes the guitar feel nice and comfortable. The Sweep cutaway provides access to the highest frets, allowing the bridge to be moved further back. Due to the positioning at the widest point of the top, the sound comes out optimally.

The Manzer wedge is also a hallmark of Lucas guitars. The body is tapered with a thinner bass side and wider bottom, where the guitar rests on the player's leg. It makes for a comfortable fit while maintaining the regular volume of air in the body.
