Cursus Iteritas Alia is our take on a wavetable-inspired additive oscillator. Cursus creates sounds from a dynamically generated wavetable, then gives the user spectral controls to sculpt and modulate. Cursus has three different algorithms, based on different conceptualizations of frequency: Fourier, which uses sine waves; Daubechies, using wavelets; and Walsh mode, using the Walsh transform. All that math is hidden behind a set of friendly controls that produces an extremely wide variety of harmonic sounds, perfect for melodic sound design. Cursus has long been regarded as the gentlest Iteritas, but if you need some beef and extra low end, try mixing the suboscillator output into your patch.
