Up for sale is a vintage Gibson TB-3 Mastertone 4-string tenor banjo. This one was purchased in 1928 (we have a copy of the original receipt!). This one is in good playing condition after some work that we just did on it: replaced the head; replaced 5 frets and dressed; full set up with new strings. It definitely shows some wear, but for an almost 100 year old instrument, it is in good condition. It plays great. This one was built in Kalamazoo, Michigan with a serial number of 8901-13. The case is original, and is structurally sound, but does show some wear, the locking latch in the middle no longer latches, and we replaced the handle. See pictures for condition
