Gibson Nighthawk N-225 Semi Hollow Guitar 2013 - Ebony Ltd edition Rick Harris Pinstripe. Upgraded pickups w/OHSC

Here we have a pre owned Gibson Nighthawk N-225 Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar.  Made in the USA in 2013.  The N-225 is a departure from the normal Gibson style guitar.  This one is a semi-hollow or "open chambered" body with a set neck design.  60's slim neck profile. 24.75" scale length.  Maple body and neck with a 22- fret Rosewood fingerboard with Block inlays.  Diamond inlay on the headstock too.  All black hardware with Grover tuners, Nashville Tune-O-matic bridge and a Vibrola tremolo tailpiece.   The finish is Ebony with a limited edition pin striping done by Rick Harris who is known for striping the Billy Gibbons guitars. This one has been upgraded by a previous owner with a GFS Alnico Soapbar sized humbucker in the neck and a Dimarzio DP255 Transition humbucker in the bridge.   The pickups sound fantastic.  The originals are not included.  The guitar weighs 8lbs 2oz.

The guitar has just been setup by our technician with 10-46's and is playing great.  The neck is straight and the truss rod is working as it should. Good travel in both directions.   The frets are in excellent shape and received a light level to make things even better.  Cosmetically, the guitar is in very good to excellent condition depending on your interpretation.  There are some light scuffs around some of the edges.  The paint has worn off due to the thin finish that's on these guitars.  The bottom back edge and the two horns are where that is evident.  Please see all photos for detailed condition.  The guitar comes with its original Gibson rectangular hard shell case.  The case is in great shape with all hinges and latches working nicely.  

All in all, this N-225 is a super cool guitar with a little bit of everything thrown at it.  It has the Gibson sound but with a tremolo and some good pickups.  You can conjure a pretty awesome tone toolbox with this one.  Thanks for looking and happy buying!
