This is a J-Craft Jaguar Special HH, crafted in Japan. The J craft range retained the charm of Fender models while incorporating unique features and giving them a non traditional feel. The JGS 78 is a fearless model with black chrome parts, 2 Dragster Humbuckers and a stop tailpiece. This guitar is rarely seen outside of the Japanese Domestic market.
Featuring an alder, body finished in an aesthetically pleasing Gunmetal Red Burst. The 9 1/2" radius, rosewood capped, maple neck, has rolled edges and a C shaped profile . The 22 frets show a small amount of use and play well in all positions. The Chrome plated hardware features some wear especially beneath the volume control, and some light patina overall.
All the electronics function perfectly, offering the various options of control over the pickups, as would be expected of a Jaguar Special.
There is some minor cosmetic wear, mainly concentrated around the tail perimeter of the guitar. There is a notable ding/chip to the body above the neck pickup controls (pictured)
