This J. Backlund Design guitar is a true gem, handcrafted as one of the original creations by the B.M.L. Corp. Within Bennett Music Labs, only 7 unique designs were ever produced, resulting in a total of just 75 of these exceptional guitars. Among them, the JBD-100 models numbered 30, with only 1 or possibly 2 crafted in the stunning Cobalt Blue/Ivory color combination.

What sets this guitar apart is the meticulously crafted control/accent plate, a shining example of hand-polished stainless steel with an engine-turned finish. This feature is exclusive to the handmade USA versions, distinguishing them from the silver mirror plastic imitations found in others.

Revision 5 - The Final Masterpiece

The Revision 5 iteration, the last of its kind, boasts a custom-made Vintage Vibe pickup. Included is the accompanying paperwork that showcases the attention to detail and commitment to sonic excellence.

Custom Snakeskin Case & Stand

The included snakeskin case was tailor-made for Backlund by G&G USA, serving as the original protective companion for this exceptional guitar. Even the stand has been customized to perfectly cradle the guitar and its case.

Pearlescent Elegance

The Cobalt Blue and Black finish exhibits a captivating pearlized texture, while the Ivory finish features a lighter, yet equally enchanting pearl effect. Please note that the apparent dust in the pictures is actually the play of light on these mesmerizing pearl finishes. These custom paint jobs were masterfully executed by Sims Custom Shop for Backlund.
