Cat's Eyes is an acoustic guitar brand of Tokai Gakki Co., Ltd. Tokai Gakki Co., Ltd. is a well-known Japanese vintage guitar manufacturer and started manufacturing acoustic guitars in 1970. 1971, Tokai Gakki became the exclusive distributor of Martin guitars in Japan, and along with import and sales, entered into a technical and OEM partnership to manufacture guitars for the Japanese domestic market.In 1975, with a full commitment, the company began manufacturing and selling the "Cat's Eyes" brand of acoustic guitars.It is no exaggeration to say that Cat's Eyes is truly MIJ's Martin.
The CE1000 features vintage prewar D-28 style position marks from 1935 to 1945, herringbone body trim, and flower pod head inlays. It is truly a thimble, yet beautiful and powerful guitar. Using the finest solid spruce and rosewood, Honduran mahogany, ebony, and other luxurious materials dried in the best condition, this gem of a handmade guitar is crafted by craftsmen who have received technical guidance from Martin.

This CE-1000 has a dynamic and powerful sound similar to the Martin D-28 model, but with a more subtle tone. The sound is wonderful with a good balance between the deep bass of the dread note size and the brilliant treble that comes from the good sound finish unique to Rosewood Body. The overtones drive the sound, and the clear treble and full bass that continue to resonate forever are the sound of an all solid body. Harmonious overtones are wonderful, and it also has a delicate sounds, perfect for fingering play.The fret over binding on the fingerboard gives a smooth fingering feel. Improves playability.
