About This Listing

I have a 2018 G&L USA Legacy here. This one comes with its factory soft case.

Conditionally it's in nice condition and easy to describe.

The body top, side/edges, and body back all look the same. I'm seeing
light superficial signs of swirling here and there but no build up or
accumulation of any sort of surface playwear. I did not find dings
bumps or indents or anything notable. There are no neck pocket cracks.
I did find a good amount of pick strumming on the plastic pickguard
but any sort of superficial playwear like that is pretty minimal on
the body itself. I found just a couple faint superficial scuff marks
about a couple millimeters in size.

The neck likewise looks very clean I did not find any dings or
indentations or bumps. I can see a very superficial scuff on the top
edge wall of the headstock but no bumps are indents or anything
notable. The Frets look excellent they are tall and healthy with no
pitting or divots. And no sharp fret edges the setup plays nicely with
no fret buzz. There is a little bit of a float to the tremolo height
it's at about a 15° angle. Some may prefer it more level to the body.
My rule is when I have a guitar that plays great with a great action I
don't change the setup so this one definitely plays great. The
electronics are working perfectly like they should.

So I will rate this guitar conservatively a 9.3/10 and grade as
excellent. I'm seeing just very light surface signs of use here like
light surface swirling hear and there a couple minute scuff marks but
I could not find a ding or anything notable there's no buckle rash or
worming or anything to that degree. It's structurally and sonically
sound and plays well.

I don't have the spec sheet with this one but it's a pretty typical
G&L model. I suspect it has an alder wood body. The color is a
metallic red definitely not a solid color it's sort of looks like a
candy apple metallic sparkle color very attractive. The neck has a
moderately slim shape it's not a chunky neck. The fretboard appears to
be Caribbean rosewood. I would describe it as a typical nice well
dialed in G&L legacy both from playability and a tonality perspective.
Also note it is stock with two exceptions. Dunlop USA Strap buttons.
The pickups are Fender Yosemite Stratocaster pickups.

G&L USA made guitars in general are very fine instruments. In my years
with them what stands out to me the most is their proprietary bridges.
Metals are not made the same even within brass, steel, zinc allow,
aluminum there are different hardness and densities that guitar
builders will use for desired effect. G&L have absolute bell like
sweet overtones coming from their guitars, they have chrome covered
brass saddles and polished steel bridges ( and Trem blocks).

They have really dialed in how to get the best overtones from their
hardware to compliment the tonewoods and pickups. That is to my ears
the biggest factor that sets them apart from other companies making
Strat and Tele style vintage guitars. They put a lot of R and D into
crafting their own tone. I consider them a player's and connoisseur's
brand for vintage style guitars, all the more so due to their
reasonable price point for a premium USA made guitar.

Note that this listing may come down at anytime as I am a
multi-platform seller and do sell locally and on my own Site as well
in an effort to keep sales fluid. State sales tax will be charged On
Reverb sales when applicable, so factor that in to your purchase.

I will immaculately pack it as well. I use quality shipping boxes,
ample tape on all sides. And sufficient bubble wrap filler and bracing
inside the box. And always Marked/denoted as fragile. I generally
detune guitars 1/2 half step prior to shipment as well if needed.

Thank you for reading and considering!
