We have here a 1926 Paramount Style A. This banjo seems to be all original. It is missing its very last fret, I have the piece of fingerboard and original fret in the case. You can see this issue in the picture. The action is also quite high, however the open strings fret out on the first fret. It seems to need a new nut or some sort of neck reset or both. In the past I've just put a capo on the first fret and played it in this position. It has a really great tone, piano like tones and nice and loud. Once fixed up it could be a great historic and playable piece! You can tell its been played a lot, take a look at that worn in neck ! Comes with cheap old case.
