This is a japan-made 1960's import guitar from the "wacky guitar era" where multiple pickups and crazy designs were in vogue. This guitar is in pretty good shape overall and really doesn' show any play wear...more like wear from storage and handling rather than being played. Very cool hollow body and it sounds pretty good.
It is remarkably all original with no missing parts! It is missing a couple pearl neck markers but all other original parts are present.
The down side is - it was stored for MANY years in its case with string tension on and the top is noticeably 'sunk' at the neck pickup, and the neck has pulled up so action is really high on the neck....see pics. In its current state, it is an "art" wall hanger, or can be parted out to save another guitar, or would need a neck reset / and / or top rebuild to put it back in playing condition. A good luthier project for an aspiring luthier to practice on! See last 4 pics for various views of the neck.
Still, a very funky-cool piece form the 60s.
Original hard case shows some age-related surface patina but is rock solid, except for broken hasp on the front lock. Pretty clean inside with good color.
