Dusty Hill Of ZZ Top's Electric Washtub Bass

This is Dusty Hill's Washtub Bass from the recent auction. The provenance is bulletproof as it came from the auction. I put 'electric' in the description because there is a jack and what looks like a crude pickup. The wire is detached from the jack and I don't sodder.
The pole looks used and weathered to no end... like this thing was used for decades. Washtubs are not my field of expertise, but this thing is as cool as can be. the picture of Dusty playing the washtub didn't come from the auction, but from the internet.
You will certainly be the only one on your block who has one of these!
