The Radial StageBug SB-2 Passive DI is the go-to solution for bass players, acoustic instrumentalists, and keyboardists looking for a high-performance direct box that's as portable as it is versatile. Whether you're gigging locally or hitting the road, the SB-2 is your trusted companion for exceptional sound quality.

Compact and Feature-Packed

Designed to fit snugly inside your guitar case, the SB-2 doesn't compromise on features. It all starts with a 1/4" input and thru-put for connecting to your on-stage amp. The custom-made Eclipse ET-DB3 transformer takes care of impedance matching and signal balancing, ensuring your instrument's true character shines through.

For instruments with high-output pickups, the SB-2 offers a -15dB pad that tames those extra-hot signals, making it ideal for active basses and digital pianos. The innovative stereo-to-mono merge function simplifies the connection of stereo keyboards and computers, eliminating the need to reset the source for mono operation. This time-saving feature also conserves valuable input channels on the PA.

The SB-2's output features an XLR connector wired to the AES standard with pin-2 hot, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of professional audio equipment.

Exceptional Sound Quality

Once connected, the SB-2 delivers a warm, vintage-inspired sound that adds character to your tone. The Eclipse ET-DB3 transformer handles extreme signal levels gracefully, providing natural compression that's easy on the ears. It also eliminates hum and buzz caused by ground loops by isolating the input from the output. The ground lift switch further enhances performance by lifting pin-1 on the XLR, ensuring a quiet, professional sound.

Whether you're a bassist, acoustic player, or keyboard wizard, the Radial StageBug SB-2 Passive DI offers big performance in a compact package.
