About This Listing

Super cool and rare all aluminum strat. Bought a few years ago but don’t really play it (prefer humbuckers). There are other metal guitars out there, but what I loved about this one is that EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING on the body is chromed out! It looks like the guitar was dipped in molten silver before the neck was attached. ✨

Sounds wonderful as you would expect from Fender’s Custom Shop (little bit of “Mississippi Delta shining like a National Guitar” vibe), but such a magnet for fingerprints that I ended up staring at it more than playing it.

I am a casual collector and fairly harsh judge of condition, but would rate this a solid “Excellent” for a 30 year old instrument, esp one made of aluminum which is a very soft metal and scratches easily. Please judge for yourself from the detailed photos. There are some marks and light surface scratches but nothing that detracts from the overall look and feel of the guitar.

No trades please.
