The WOODLINE is a left-handed, lefty model of Bacchus' signature handmade bass.
The WOODLINE, a representative of the Bacchus Handmade Series electric basses, has a dinky shape for playability, a tight sound that covers all genres, and an oil-finish texture that gets better as it is played. The WOODLINE has been well received by many bass players for its standard style and solid individuality.
In 2017, with the renewal of WOODLINE, we have updated the detailed specs to make it a more manageable instrument with a higher degree of perfection.
The main changes include a review of the pickup polepiece position to optimize the relationship between the strings and the pickups. The pickup covers now feature the "WOODLINE" logo. The position of the rear pickup has been laid out closer to the bridge for a tighter sound output.
(*When the turbo switch is on, the volume is adjusted with the front Vol knob. In this case, the rear Vol knob is bypassed.)
The "oil finish", one of the synonyms of BACCHUS, is the same as before, and each guitar is carefully finished one by one without suppressing the vibration of the body material, light ash, leading to an open sound. The sharp body outline and exquisite contoured rounding are the advantages in terms of appearance and playability, and we hope you will find the WOODLINE to be even more motivating to play.
