Hey now! You're looking at one of the most iconic guitars ever made.
This is a vintage 1961 Gibson Les Paul Standard SG electric guitar, in Cherry Red.
It weighs 6 lbs 11 oz, 24.75" scale, 1.67" nut
A very well kept example - original case, and PAFs.
This is the legendary guitar that so many guitar hero's have rocked the world with.
The lightweight mahogany body / mahogany neck gives us incredible natural resonance, amazing tone transfer, and incredible mid-range crunch.
Grabbing up all this wonderful tone are a pair of original PAF humbuckers, and WOW do they scream. Every vintage tone is right at your fingertips.
It's in great vintage condition, especially considering it's age.
The neck is straight, and the frets are clean. There is some finish checking, marks, dents, finish chips, dings, scratches - everything you'd expect from a well loved, well played, well kept guitar.
As you can see, this was resprayed by Gibson. When Gibson wasn't happy with a guitar when it was completed, it went back to the factory and made perfect again!
